POV believes the planet is in grave dan- ger and that decisions made on the basis of profits for the next quarter will lead to the destruction of life as we know it. Alas, many executives will frankly state that it is simply "not cost effective to save the planet."   Decisions must be made on the basis that they preserve the planet, not profits.
